Opus 2
Opus 2
"Face it. You've met your end. It's over. As you further perish in the horrid hands of a split classroom, the last sounds you ever will hear are the hums of a melancholy cello slowly echoing faintly as your cries of agony mixed with the ambient screeching of the classroom rattle your ears away. All hope is lost. Your freedom and happiness cease to exist, and your eternal misery is just starting..."
I was excited to return to school for grade 7, as I had a wonderful last year, until I learned that I was going to be placed in a Grade 7/8 split classroom intended to punish misbehaving and uneducated mentally diminished grade 8 students. I composed this piece to lament my suffering.
