Blurred Action
Blurred Action
A slow shutter speed of 1/2s has made this bus zooming by the autumn trees appear as some futuristic high-speed hover vehicle, as the wheels are not visible, and the windows look seamless. Ironically, this bus, #9753, is the oldest active bus in BC Transit's fleet as of November 2020, dating all the way back to 1996.

I tried getting an action shot of my household's canine sprinting towards my mother with a shutter speed of 1/125, however it still was not quite quick enough to capture in absolute stillness the velocity of this highly spirited and energetic canine. Unfortunately, there was not too much sun, so a higher shutter speed would have been too dark.
Light Painting
Light Painting
With an very long exposure time of 20s, I got this light painting from the top deck of a double decker bus on the highway.
Greater Depth of Field
Greater Depth of Field
I caught this landscape shot of the Victoria Harbour with a blurred seaplane crossing it.
Shallow Depth of Field
Shallow Depth of Field
Though this shot is quite simplistic in regards to angle and composition, I believe it is a good exemplification of a shallow depth of field, the dangling leaf sticking out from the blurred background.
